Techno-Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC

Main duties and responsibilities : - Configuring, developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areas - Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development. - Creating functional requirements and functional specs based on user specification. - Converting functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents - Making technical recommendations for installation, modifications, and custom development - Planning, designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting NAV business systems. - Testing functionality against business requirements - Analyzing, documenting, and suggesting system enhancements through communication with users, management, and customers / vendors to meet business goals and satisfy business and technical requirements. - Developing curricula, organizing, and delivering formal training on NAV functionality, including customizations and add-ons - Dealing with complex situations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and critical support - Maintaining / administering security settings for NAV users; responsible for overall application security - Providing pre-go-live and post-go-live support - Planning and executing upgrades and releases. - Assisting sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business. Knowledge and Experience : - 4 years of Dynamics NAV/BC consulting experience. - Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009/2013/2015/2016/2017/2018 and Dynamics BC. - Experience in CAL/AL Programming. - Experience in third Party softwares (Jet Reports Continia document capture, Tasklet), Dot net, Web Services, BI experience is preferable. - Experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics NAV/BC. - Experience of working on upgrade projects is preferable. - Understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server. - Experience of working for different industries like Manufacturing and Warehousing, Finance, Trade and Logistics.
