Job Description
CAD Designer - Permanent Role - Rochester (ME2)
Our client, a subcontractor who specialise in roofing/cladding projects, are looking for a CAD Designer to join their team based out of their head office in Rochester.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate 2D & 3D CAD drawings for construction, and industrial projects.
Generate profile drawings for CNC cutting.
Create detailed workshop manufacturing drawings.
Develop concept drawings for tenders and client presentations.
Responsible for ordering fabricated frames from our suppliers as well as all glass and flashing's.
Perform material take-offs and prepare material lists for pricing and procurement.Requirements:
Proven experience in the roofing/cladding sector.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong understanding of construction, and industrial drawing standards.
Experience in creating CNC profile drawings and workshop manufacturing drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
