Azure Solutions Architect
Contract Details
Day Rate: £600-£700 (Inside IR35)
Duration: 6-month rolling contract
Location: Birmingham (1 day on-site, flexible working)
Role Purpose
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of software solutions for a key regulatory organisation. The successful candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's Microsoft-centric solutions, including Dynamics 365, and drive strategic enhancements to support the business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Design and document solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM), Dynamics 365 Finance, SharePoint, and other integrated systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams to analyse requirements and create roadmaps, project briefs, and high-level designs.
Ensure robust data flow and integration across solutions, including non-functional requirements (e.g., security, disaster recovery).
Provide technical leadership and support for internal and third-party development teams.
Act as the technical owner for various system components, ensuring alignment with evergreen updates
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft-centric solutions, including:
Dynamics 365 (Customer Experience and Finance)
Power BI
Azure Data Factory
PowerApps
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Expertise in solution architecture design using tools like Visio or PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Purview, and Databricks is advantageous.
Experience in delivering data programmes, including data modelling, integration, and governance.
Desirable Skills
Experience in regulatory or legal industries.
Knowledge of additional Microsoft technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Synapse Analytics.
Microsoft certifications or equivalent qualifications.
