Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hessle (commutable from Leeds, York, Hull, and surrounding areas)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000
Join my clients expanding Commercial team, a 5-Star Home Builder committed to crafting exceptional, bespoke homes. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be instrumental in managing budgets, subcontractor contracts, and project costs across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire developments.
Your Role:
* Prepare Bills of Quantities, budgets, and material schedules.
* Manage subcontractor tenders, agreements, and progress payments.
* Ensure accurate forecasting and monthly cost reporting.
* Provide site support, conduct valuations, and oversee more complex projects.
* Mentor junior team members, working collaboratively with internal teams.
Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in residential construction.
* Strong commercial management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
* HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction Studies.
* Knowledge of NHBC building regulations and construction sequencing.
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and IT proficiency.
* Full UK driving license.
