Principal or Associate Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Bristol and Cardiff
Are you an experienced Geotechnical Engineer looking for your next career move? Build Maintain Recruit Limited are looking for a Principal or Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join a dynamic team based in Bristol and Cardiff. Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects and represent the company in Design Team Meetings.
Manage and review work undertaken by junior staff to ensure quality and accuracy.
Cost and quote professional services for clients.
Design foundations (ULS and SLS), soil retaining structures, and ground reinforcement.
Assess and specify ground improvement techniques.
Perform earthworks design, settlement assessment, and slope stability analysis using geotechnical software.
Prepare interpretive GIRs, GDRs, and GFRs to the highest technical standards.
Apply sound commercial and contractual judgment in project delivery. What You’ll Need:
A minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience in ground engineering.
Technical proficiency and expertise in geotechnical design and analysis.
