E-Commerce & Marketing Executive (Construction Manufacturing)

We are absolutely thrilled to be working alongside our Award Winning Construction Manufacturing client as we look to recruit for an experienced E-Commerce Executive to join their Manufacturing Site in Hadleigh. This is a brand new role to the business, which will give you the opportunity to bring your own flare and talent to our client and to play a pivotal part in the future success of this specialist division.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the primary purpose of this role is to organise, develop and drive our clients Special Products sales via 3rd party online platforms & other product resellers.
* The E-commerce Sales Manager is responsible for managing and directing an e-commerce offering, achieving sales targets and profit goals.
* The design and recommendation of online sales promotions with short and long-term online sales strategies.
* Working closely with the Commercial Director they will analyse & report on all Special Products online sales activity
* Working closely with the Category Manager they will find trends of bestselling associated products online & assist with product development & marketing strategies.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Create and manage the E-Commerce & Reseller product portfolio sales strategy
* Devise long-term development strategies for product categories.
* Support the sales & technical teams with account management of all new & existing companies with Special Products online listing, undertaking regular reviews of pricing and lean delivery methods.
* New business development of all e-commerce & reseller accounts, proactively engaging with customers and selling Special Products entire portfolio where possible into the mass market & niche markets
* Full ownership of the reseller development & achieving sales targets set.
* Project managing & actively supporting the range with product imagery, terms and conditions of business, branding, packaging.
* To provide an insight on current market trends, reseller & customer analysis, and competitor positioning. Understand the drivers for each persona, informing a strategic view.
* Provide extensive information relating analytics of each reseller, monthly reporting to the Commercial Director with recommendations to drive sales & forecasting
* Support the a “cradle-to-cradle” NPD management process with reseller data
* Create value propositions in readiness for promoting to the marketplace and support communications campaigns.
* Carry out portfolio management activity to ensure best fit of the product range to market needs and competitive environment.
* Working with marketing develop category branding, including product names, packaging and project manage the production of all marketing collateral required.
* Determine customers' needs by specifying research, obtaining market information and carrying out regular personal visits to a variety of our target customers.
* Bring new products to market in a swift & timely fashion
* Liaise with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to bring the products to market or reengineer existing products.
* Create long term export reseller strategy
* Complete ownership & project management of all e-commerce & reseller related tasks
Previous Experience and Qualifications
Essential - Driving License
Essential – Experience of digital & e-commerce product management
Essential – Good knowledge of online sales & sales strategies
Essential – Experience of technical specifications & sustainability
Desirable - Educated to degree level or a related role specific qualification
Desirable – Understanding of branding, packaging and logistics
Desirable – Experience in marketing and sales
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Excellent knowledge of company products and materials
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office 365 products
Proficient in Salesforce, EFACS or other CRM system
Excellent written verbal communication
