Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a Mechanical Contractor based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer to join their dynamic team.
As a Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of gas appliances in both commercial and domestic settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Attend service requests and reactive breakdowns to fault find, diagnose, and repair gas appliances in a timely and cost-effective manner.
* Perform day-to-day responsive maintenance, service, and repairs as instructed.
* Conduct regular servicing and safety checks on all heating systems, identifying necessary works to ensure compliance with current gas/oil safety regulations.
* Inspect and diagnose boiler/system breakdowns to ensure heating systems function correctly.
* Direct helpers engaged in the assembly or installation of heating systems or components.
Requirements:
* Valid commercial gas certificates (ACS – CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A).
* Proven experience in the commercial gas sector, including analysis, fault finding, service, repair, and maintenance of gas/heating installations and appliances.
* Working knowledge of test equipment, including electrical multi-meters.
* Willing to travel to multiple sites across the West & East Midlands, with some wider travel as required.
