Job Description:
As an AV Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in their mission to deliver exceptional Audio Visual projects. Your responsibilities encompass project oversight, client engagement, design implementation, and a relentless focus on quality. This role offers dynamic challenges, creativity, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: As an Audio Visual Project Manager, your job is to oversee day-to-day project operations, maintaining effective communication with clients, design teams, contractors, and on-site personnel.
Client Engagement: Serve as the primary client-facing representative, providing system explanations, suggesting alternatives, and ensuring seamless project handovers.
Collaboration: Work closely with company engineers and third-party teams to facilitate their needs, while upholding our exacting standards.
Rack Design: Create rack designs in accordance with company guidelines, collaborating with Lead Engineers when necessary.
Drawing Management: Collaborate with the Project Support Team to produce and update project drawings in a timely manner.
Procurement: Ensure timely equipment procurement to keep projects on schedule and within budget, verifying equipment suitability.
Safety: Prioritise safety on-site, ensuring that Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) are issued as required.
Meetings: Attend or host on-site and virtual meetings, ensuring the timely and professional exchange of relevant information.
Design Expertise: Continuously review and refine project designs, if necessary, throughout the project duration.
Program Development: Develop project schedules and programs to guide project execution.
Financial Management: Manage project finances, invoicing, variations, and quotes in collaboration with client teams and main contractors.
People Management: Lead and manage project teams, fostering a positive working environment.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the company design team regarding specified equipment/systems.
Handover: Effectively hand over completed projects to clients and the company's maintenance team in coordination with our partners.
Experience Required:
Strong understanding of Audio Visual systems and their functionality.
Ideally at least 2 years experience as an AV Project Manager
Proficiency with AV and Lighting Control systems such as Crestron, Control4, Savant, Lutron.
Expertise in home cinema systems and surround sound technology.
Ability to design, interpret, and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Knowledge of electrical systems.
Hands-on field experience.
Proficiency in fault-finding and problem-solving.
The company will also look at a very experienced AV Engineer with experience in Home Automation who is looking to take that step up into AV Project Management, however, you will need experience running sites or managing people.

Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 basic salary (Depending on experience)
