Job Title:

Construction Planner

Description & Background:

This company have a mechanical scope of work at Hinkley Point C as a Senior Planner, responsible for drafting, owning, and maintaining complex project schedules across 3 buildings and 10 work spaces. You'll play a critical role in ensuring efficient project planning and delivery for this major infrastructure project.

Responsibilities:

• Produce and maintain project schedules
• Perform critical path and workflow efficiency analysis
• Lead schedule look-aheads (2, 10, 30, and 60-day projections)
• Generate weekly schedule reports monitoring KPIs
• Work with Senior Quantity Surveyor and Cost Engineer on monthly reporting
• Lead weekly planning meetings with construction and engineering teams

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years' construction planning experience
• P6 SQEP qualified
• Site works experience
• BPSS holder (advantageous)
• Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes (advantageous)

• Highly skilled in P6
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Good IT literacy
• Technical HNC/ONC
