Job Description
Are you Setting Out Engineer looking for the opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading civil engineering contractors? James Gray Recruitment is actively looking for a Site Engineer on behalf of one of our key building contractors.
Our client:
• A UK leading civil engineering and building contractor known for their delivery of high-quality infrastructure and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setting out and surveying sites using modern equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations).
• Interpreting and implementing technical drawings and specifications.
• Liaising with site teams, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Preparing site reports, maintaining records, and managing project documentation.
What you will need to be successful:
• Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, ideally in civil engineering or construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field (preferred).
