Role Description
Join Our Team as a Waking Night Support Worker - Physical disabilities and acquired brain Injury
Location:Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary:£12.49 per hour (£22,731per annum) plus benefits: paid induction
Hours:35 Hours per week; 9pm to 7am Monday to Sunday rolling rota basis: - 4 nights one week (Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) - 3 nights another week Monday, Tuesday and Saturday)
Contract:Full-time (35 hours per week), Permanent
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

We're looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging by being vigilant and supportive throughout the waking night shift.
What will you be doing?
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.

Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.

Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.

Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy what they love.

Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality. Who you will be Supporting?
The team supports up to five people, who have a variety of health conditions from acquired brain injury, stroke and other physical disabilities. You will be supporting people with all aspects of life from personal care, cooking, cleaning, and day to day supporting people to live the life they choose. There are some people who have behaviours of concern, but you will be surrounded by a supportive team and will have training to be confident in providing the right support and be vigilant during the Waking Night shift.
