Job Description
We are currently recruiting an Onsite Mobile Engineer to join the team at our depot in West London.
As an Onsite Mobile Engineer you will provide day-to-day assistance to the main contractor with respect to managing NWP Mewps on-site as part of a managed service / sole supplier agreement. Provide expert advice to main and sub-contractors. Co-ordinate the efficient and effective use of all NWP Mewps on-site. Liaise between site and Hire Desk to organise on/off hires. Ensure statutory regulations (LOLER) are met.

Responsibilities include:
• Be an ambassador for health and safety and to ensure compliance for quality, health and safety
• Ensure that all inspections of machines are in conformance with manufacturers specification, company policy and the regulations affecting the use. Ensure that there is no deficiency or defect likely to affect the safe working of a machine. Notify the appropriate manager of any serious defect or unsafe equipment as required
• Act as an ambassador for the Company, providing a high standard of customer care and being polite at all times. Relay appropriate customer queries to depot staff as required
• Deliver customer service on site and maintain relationship
• Maintain high levels of personal appearance, ensuring uniform and personal protective equipment are used correctly
• Maintain high standard of quality and compliance of all engineering paperwork
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering Qualification or similar preferable
• Time Served Mechanical Engineer
• MEWP for Managers Qualification preferable
• IPAF Demonstrators Card
• CSCS Card
• Excellent communicator
