Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Shift Manager to join us at our Equipment Management operation in Burton Latimer, supporting our customer, Morrisons. This is a fast paced, busy operation handling all returned products and equipment from their stores. Its all about recycling and reuse!

This is a full time, permanent position, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 06:00 to 18:00.

What youll do on a typical day:

• Oversee the running of the recycling operation
• Ensure that the site is utilising resource effectively, monitoring headcount, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Promote and develop a health and safety culture on site in line with the companys policies
• Get involved with performance management, KPI monitoring and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A warehouse operational management background
• An excellent understanding of health and safety policies and procedures
• Experience of leading teams, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and
  creating development plans
• The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity
