Secondary teacher needed in Truro with an immediate start
An outstanding school in Truro is looking for a Secondary teacher to join their team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and inspiring students to learn and achieve. The school is situated just outside of Truro. Responsibilities:
Encourage students to use their critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination
Create a positive learning environment that encourages engagement, self-esteem, and self-efficacy
Collaborate with parents and other teachers in order to create a learning community that meets the needs of each student
Communicate effectively with parents and students via the iPad app or phone app
Develop an understanding of the cultural backgrounds of students
Qualifications:
Must have a passion for teaching students from all backgrounds
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with parents, students, teachers, and administration
Must be able to work well under pressure with a deadline and be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Must have strong imagination and critical thinking skills.
Benefits:
We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience. All full-time employees are eligible for benefits including:
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Starting from £145.00 per day and schools will pay in line with the main pay scale depending on your experience.
