Systems Engineer

Location, Cumbria - Very Hybrid

Salary - £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience

My client, a market leader within the Defence industry are looking for a Systems Engineer to support with product integration workstreams to meet customer and contractual obligations.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading the delivery of integration workstreams for products.
• Applying engineering processes, tools, and innovative solutions to meet contracts and specifications.
• Defining and governing Whole Boat Design policies, processes, and guidance.
• Ensuring that major systems and functions are defined, integrated, and configured throughout the design and build phases.
• Performing engineering coordination and review activities to ensure products are safe, compliant, and delivered on time.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate product integration within an agreed requirements framework.

Skills Qualifications and Experiences:

• Strong understanding of System Engineering Principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Engineering Frameworks and the Engineering Lifecycle.
• Proven experience in effective stakeholder management across functional and organizational boundaries.
