Quant Capital is urgently looking for a SQL Developer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a $1 billion strong systematic quant commodity trading fund with excellent recent performance.

The role will involve all aspects of SQL development in a Microsoft Windows C# SQL environment, reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Development. The role needs strong communication skills as this will involve work with the trading business.

The client offers a bonus to all employees as a result of the fund’s performance from day 1. The fund is completely quant based so if development and the latest tech and making very serious bonuses are of interest, this is the role for you.

Applicants should possess SQL engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving and be able to prioritise work under pressure (main dev language C# .NET and Winforms with a SQL database).

The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with an open dress code. This is a role for techies, those who are motivated by the sharp end of technology and the possibility of making serious money doing something you are passionate about.

The role will involve SQL & application development to support trading applications in a Microsoft Azure Windows environment while working closely with the Chief Investment Strategist.

SQL Developers MUST have:

• An BSc in computing or mathematics or a STEM subject
• Strong SQL Development,
• Significant experience implementing transactional database systems with concurrent clients
• Significant experience in automated testing
• Experience maintaining data-intensive applications with fault-tolerant architecture
• Excellent communication skills and highly collaborative
• Commercial exposure to C# application development
• OO development and SQL database design

This role is for candidates who have a deep understanding of code not just the ability to read the language, expectations are high so if you are not a serious developer, don’t waste your time.
