We are now seeking a professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as the Senior Finance Business Manager, working with the CEO to deliver our strategy and ensuring robust financial management.
Team Overview:
This role has been created following a restructure of the finance team. We are seeking someone to join us and leverage their finance skills to elevate the charity while ensuring compliance with legal and financial requirements. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a senior finance role within a similar environment, or for someone looking to advance to the next level. You will manage and lead a small finance team and will report to the CEO.
Senior Finance Manager Role overview:
Join our busy charity’s Senior Leadership team to oversee the finance function and drive business strategy. You’ll collaborate on local bids, support income generation, and develop feasibility plans for innovative ideas. Ensure daily finance operations are compliant and high-performing, and develop both organisation-wide and project-specific budgets. Partner with leadership to ensure projects are well-resourced and within budget. You’ll also prepare reports for the CEO and Trustee Board, deputise for the CEO, and lead key business delivery areas. A basic DBS check will need to be obtained.

Location: Crawley or Shoreham, with potential for Horsham, Haywards Heath or Worthing subject to office space in location
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, or 37 hours including leading in income generation initiatives
Salary: £45,000 dependant on experience (pro-rata).
Contract type: Permanent
