Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Graduate Quantity Surveyor Newcastle, Co. Down £25k This position is full-time permanent, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Competitive salary, pension, fuel card, 28 days holiday. Day to Day: Assisting the project management team in carrying out quantity surveying functions. Assisting with the preparation of subcontract orders from tender enquiries to placement of order. Attend pre and post tender meetings. Measurement and variations of projects. Assisting in the preparation of final accounts. Assisting with cost checking and cost management. Experience & qualifications: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related qualification. 1+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong working knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques. Ability to interpret and make calculations based on drawings.
