The Client
Our client are a proud champion of farm-to-fork cooking and local produce.
Under current new management this is a stunning country inn with guest bedrooms, undertaking a refurbishment during April 2024 have aspirations of the Estrella- top 50 gastro pubs. The daily changing menu is based on what comes off the farm and inspired by great British classics. The bar serving award-winning local ales, and with a carefully curated wine list

The Role
The main responsibility of the Head Chef is to oversee and direct the seamless running of the kitchen, working alongside the Executive Chef and contribute to the ideas and growth of the kitchen.
The Head Chef will have a strong creative team of 5 to supervise and direct the kitchen operation, being hands on as and when needed.

Requirements
As Head Chef you will have Qualifications relevant to the position.
The successful candidate should additionally have the following:
In-depth understanding of volume, quality restaurant kitchen operations
Extensive knowledge of food and menu development; ability to continually advance the food offering.
Passionate about food, drink and the hospitality industry
Proven kitchen management experience.
Awareness of and adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
