Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support our client in delivering Sustaining (M&R) and Growth CAPEX projects. In this full-time permanent position, you will be pivotal in ensuring projects are completed safely, within budget, and on time, working closely with a project manager to oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading the technical aspects of assigned projects and ensuring compliance with UK and European legislation
Managing the development of project proposals, budgets, and schedules
Conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and handling technical documentation
Liaising with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and clients, to ensure project alignment
Ensuring all projects are complying with safety and environmental regulations
Managing the financial aspects of assigned projects, monitoring budgets, and contract variations
Providing 24/7 engineering advice and attending site during critical activities
Key requirements:
Degree in engineering or similar
Accreditation with PMP/Prince 2 or equivalent
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or process industries, particularly COMAH sites
Competency in project management, safety regulations, and engineering software
