Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – High-End Interior Fit-Outs
Location: Birmingham Office with Sites in West Midlands
Salary: Competitive + Benefits (Negotiable depending on experience)

The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the company's continued success and expansion. Working closely with project managers and senior leadership, you will oversee the commercial aspects of various high-value projects, ensuring costs are effectively managed, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Your expertise will be crucial in helping the company scale while maintaining their high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, conduct cost analysis, and provide accurate estimates for both new and ongoing projects.
* Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the tendering process and help procure suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality outcomes.
* Contract Administration: Oversee contractual agreements and ensure compliance with terms and conditions, addressing any disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.
* Cost Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, tracking the financial progress of projects and highlighting any risks or cost overruns.
* Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes.
* Project Delivery: Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction, upholding the company’s reputation for quality.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with a focus on commercial fit-outs or interior design projects.
* A strong understanding of the design and build sector and the ability to manage complex, high-value projects.
* Extensive experience in cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.
* Ability to analyse financial data and produce detailed reports.
* Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* RICS accreditation (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
