Haulage Officer

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client for a Haulage Manager / Officer. This role offers great opportunities in an excellent working environment.

This is a long-term ongoing role through the agency which is paid on a weekly basis.

Role:

• Managing a site including Supervisors, Drivers and ground staff, developing their skills and competencies to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Supporting and overseeing the rest of the Transport office team, dealing with absences, disciplinarys etc.
• Deal with recruitment needs, inductions, staff training and more
• Managing Key contracts to values above £3m
• Make sure all documents, contracts are all in accordance with EU legislation and procedures
• Oversee relevant budgets on site
• You will be required to be at multiple sites in the Leicester Area (Millage is covered)

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working within a waste transport service or transferable environment.
• Previous experience managing a team with proven success
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.

The Hours

Monday to Friday on a day shift, circa 40 hours per week.

Rate of Pay

You will earn an hourly rate between £22 - £27.
