Your Responsibilities: Actively collaborate with the controller to define and strengthen the company’s internal control environment. Participate in the implementation of internal controls, documentation, and process flows. Perform detailed reconciliation of balance sheets and income statements to ensure their accuracy. Periodically analyze assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring data consistency and developing action plans to address discrepancies. Conduct month-end closing of assigned accounts in compliance with deadlines and accounting standards. Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS) and internal controls (SOX) by implementing best practices. Manage fixed assets, work-in-progress, loans, and other assets effectively. Produce and analyze relevant financial information for reports to the headquarters’ accounting coordinators. Create and maintain detailed office procedures to standardize accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Assist the accounting coordinator in preparing reports for headquarters by providing accurate and up-to-date data. What We’re Looking For: University degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance or accounting, or any other relevant experience. 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. CPA designation (an asset). Experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset). Strong knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and office tools. Good knowledge of SAP. Experience in an accounting firm (an asset). Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation.
