Job Description
We are looking for our next Duty Manager, to drive our team and locations to new heights, whilst delivering great experiences to our valued customers. You’ll oversee all activities at our rental location and ensure we’re running smoothly and profitably with satisfied customers and employees alike.
About the role
In this role you will control the day to day operations of all staff and fleet at location, including the coaching of counter employees to ensure that the Customer Service and Sales process is followed and the management of team members. This is a busy role that is critical to the operation!
What you’ll do
Marketing Avis Budget products and services through identifying to customer needs, maximising sale opportunities and meeting sales goals set by management.
Ensure that vehicles for rent meet company standards for cleanliness, mechanical/body condition and roadworthiness
Ensure that returned vehicles are checked for body damage and report where necessary
Leading and managing the team on shift through sales coaching and mentoring
Developing and fostering a harmonious team environment through counselling and resolving conflicts and disciplinary issues in accordance with the guidelines in collaboration with the Area Manager.
Rostering and scheduling employees in order to match the needs of the business.
Satisfying Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Client Service Incentive (CSI) targets set by location.
Working efficiently and effectively in a team environment to maintain a culture of service excellence and accomplishing organisational goals under limited supervision.

What we’re looking for
Demonstrated understanding & use of the Customer Service and Sales Process
Experience in supervisory or leadership role with experience coaching employees
Excellent verbal and written skills
Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
A Full Drivers’ license is required and the flexibility to work to a rotating roster
