We currently have openings for Technology Specialist with strong drive and experience in consulting, management and application lifecycle development. This position will require an individual highly skilled in providing technical solutions, managing the technical design, development, construction, and delivery of technology solutions to address an organization's business needs The candidate will work cooperatively with other Excelacom sales managers and solutions architects to capture new accounts and deliver solutions to existing customers. As well as serving as the contact for financial, legal, personnel issues and customer communications and will work proactively to resolve technical issues. The candidate will be responsible for system design, support and documentation, and quality assurance throughout the build, test, rollout and application support of a system. The delivery project manager is also responsible for both the functional and technical aspects of the system Key Responsibilities : - Develop and articulate the overall system architecture and design based on business requirements. - Decide on the selection of technologies, platforms, and frameworks for system development. - Engage in research and development of tools, ensuring they align with organizational standards. - Ensure the design meets criteria for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability. - Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes or new projects. - Create prototypes or proof of concepts to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate feasibility. - Evaluate and recommend technologies through experimentation and analysis. - Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and guidelines. - Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles. - Work with security experts to address potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance. - Evaluate and select third-party tools, libraries, or services that fit within the system architecture. - Participate in retrospectives and feedback sessions to identify and implement process improvements. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives. - Represent the team in client meetings to resolve technical issues. Basic Qualifications : Technical Experience : - Solid grasp of software architecture principles and design patterns. - 6 years of experience/Expertise in Java programming. - Experience in Java/Spring framework/Spring boot/Microservices Architecture/AWS/Azure cloud services - Extensive knowledge of Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. - Experience with designing, implementing, and scaling microservices architectures. - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. - Knowledge of message-oriented middleware (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ). - Understanding of web application security and encryption. - Familiarity with security systems like OAuth 2 and SAML. - Skilled in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. - Experience optimizing code and database queries for better performance. - Capability to design and implement scalable, robust, and maintainable software solutions. - Ability to evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks for Java development projects. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience with code reviews and mentoring to ensure code quality and consistency. - Experience with DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
