MERN Stack Developer

Job Title : Senior MERN Stack Developer. Experience : 6 Years. Location : Remote. Employment Type : Contract. Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and is adept at designing and building scalable, high-performance web applications. You will play a critical role in developing new features, maintaining existing applications, and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities : . - Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Lead the technical architecture discussions and help improve the overall development process. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Maintain code quality through best practices and automated testing. - Ensure responsiveness of applications across various devices and platforms. - Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices are followed. Requirements : Experience : 6 years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with strong proficiency in the MERN stack. Front-End : Expertise in React.js, including hooks, state management (e.g, Redux), component lifecycle, and building reusable components. Back-End : Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js, with experience in building RESTful APIs and working with server-side architecture. Database : Strong knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and aggregation pipelines. Version Control : Proficiency with Git and experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Testing : Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress. Agile Methodologies : Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Communication : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of GraphQL and building microservices architecture. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, Docker, and containerization. - Experience with TypeScript. - Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role.
