Be seen as support to Head of Department in smoothand proper execution of operations of the Department.Supervise and oversee the teams development andprovide trainingwhere requiredasproposed bytheHead ofDepartmenttoensure highlevelofjobknowledge androlecoverage. Main Responsibilities Customer: Developandmaintain strongstakeholdermanagementwithkeystakeholderswithinMUFG. Workinpartnershipwithrelationshipmanagers toprovideadvice oncustomertransactions. Supportandresolve customerenquiriesandprovideexcellent customerservice. Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, MUFGsstandardproceduresandlocalregulationsandassesstheimpactonthedaily operationsworkflow. Work in partnership with the wider operations team for information sharing and to ensure thattransactions areprocessed accuratelyandin atimelymanner. TosupportdevelopmentalprojectsrelatingtotheDepartment. People: Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team.Assist in the training anddevelopmentof individuals toensurehighlevelofjob knowledge. Other / Control: Perform the checking process on operational issues, escalated by the less experienced members oftheteam. Investigateoperationalincidentsandpreparedraft reportstotheHeadofDepartment. Preparememosseeking approvalonchanges tostreamlinetheoperationalprocesses. Performthereconciliationofanydailypendingtransactions Support the Head of Department in determining the level of support on new MUFG product offeringsbycarryingoutreviewsonresourcingissues, internalpolicies,workaroundsandsystemcapabilities. Support the Head of Department in achieving the departments KPIs, set by the BranchManagement. Support the overseas branches in providing guidance on operational procedures and system functions. Supportindevelopingandupdatingpolicies toensurealignment torelevantregulation. Developrecommendationsforcontinuousimprovementandsupportimplementation. Support inmanagingtheriskprofile forthedepartment. Supportinternalandexternalaudits withinthedepartmentbypreparingdocumentationasrequired Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.Adhere toall company policiesaswell as guidelines CandidateProfile: Strong PCskills (MSOffice) ExtensiveexperienceinBankingOperations,withagoodunderstandingofBankingproducts.
