MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Lifestyle Brand seeking a Senior Collections Designer. This is a permanent role based in Hampshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape an iconic line, bringing a fresh perspective to a well-established brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the collection, from initial concept to final product.
• Stay on top of emerging fashion trends, ensuring the collection meets consumer demand and aligns with market trends.
• Collaborate with buying, merchandising, and production teams to ensure commercial viability while maintaining brand values.
• Drive sustainability initiatives by integrating eco-friendly materials such as Lenzing Viscose, reducing environmental impact.
• Oversee design packs, CADs, and technical specifications to deliver high-quality, on-brand products.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate sample deliveries.
• Present seasonal collections to the team, highlighting key trends and innovations.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a cohesive and collaborative team environment.

What are we looking for?

• A degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing womenswear, preferably in premium or smart-casual categories.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and technical fit.
• Experience in driving sustainable design practices and working with eco-friendly materials.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple timelines and stakeholders.
• A passion for designing innovative, high-quality collections that elevate the brand.
