  • Financial Compliance & Governance: Ensure the business complies with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to the wider business, providing financial insights to support decision-making across operations, sales, and other departments.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Support the CEO in identifying and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, including financial due diligence and integration planning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating finance teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to provide strategic insights and drive business performance.
  • Experience with financial systems and ERP solutions (experience with systems like Xero, NetSuite, or similar is a plus).

Personal Attributes:

  • Ambitious and eager to take the next step in your career.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a small, dynamic business environment.
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to collaborate with non-financial teams and senior leadership.
