We are currently seeking two skilled and experienced Social Workers to join the South Pre-Birth Team based at Lifford House. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated professionals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of expectant families, working within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities:

As part of the South Pre-Birth Team, you will:

• Undertake comprehensive Pre-Birth Assessments, covering Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), pre-proceedings, and court work.
• Carry a reduced caseload of approximately 10 children to focus on quality of service.
• Support the team’s duty worker in providing responsive and immediate assistance to families in need.
• Prepare detailed pre-birth assessments, Social Work Evidence Templates (SWETs), Care Plans, and Child Permanence Reports (CPRs) to high standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We need Social Workers with:

• Social Work England accreditation and proven experience in the UK.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in court processes, particularly with pre-birth assessments.
• Exceptional skills in producing SWETs, Care Plans, and CPRs.
• Commitment to compassionate and effective support for families, along with a high degree of professionalism in safeguarding and assessment processes.
