Part Time Teachers required across Norfolk
Would you like a teaching role which would fit into your lifestyle?
Are you looking for a less stressful role teaching one to one as opposed to a whole class?
If so read on -
Strategy Education SEN division are looking for qualified teachers for an immediate start who hold QTS or QTLS to work in Kings Lynn, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Dereham and Diss to work part time 1:1 with students who are not in school for various reasons.
We are looking for both Primary and Secondary teachers to work either full or part time with students who are not in mainstream education.
You are able to make the role your own by "hooking into the students interests" and building a learning programme around this.
These roles are very rewarding and you are able to make a real difference to the students self esteem and academic outcome.
The hours and days are flexible, and most students get approximately 15 hours per week and we keep you close to home as you will be working either am or pm sessions.
These roles are rewarding, and the primary activity is to provide an individualised education both academically and socially in the community in either a school setting, in the home or designated public building such as a Library.
The majority of these students have had difficulties in a mainstream setting and may have behaviour or special needs and are likely to be working below their age group.
We currently have roles in the following areas Kings Lynn, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford, Dereham and Diss.
Ideal Candidate
You must hold QTS or QTLS
Be a reflective practitioner.
Some knowledge about a range of interventions and their impact on meeting the needs of SEN students.
Some experience of Autism, SEMH, ADHD or MLD would be advantageous but not essential.
Relevant training in SEN is desirable but not essential
The ability to deliver therapeutic, creative and innovative lessons to engage the most reluctant of learners.

The full time daily salary is between £130.00 - £140.00 per day
AM or PM sessions are for approximately 3 hours and the daily rate is £72.00 - £78.00 per session
