Project Manager - Office Relocation

Hybrid

6 months Contract


The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the entire office relocation process for our Smart Metering client, from initial planning to the final setup at the new location. This role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple teams, timelines, and resources to ensure a smooth and efficient transition by managing multiple small projects to lead a large transformation programme.


Key Accountabilities


Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive relocation project plan, including timelines, budget, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
  • Conduct site assessments and create detailed layouts for new office space utilisation.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to identify specific needs and requirements for the new office location.
  • Use of Waterfall methodologies to deliver the business implementations.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management.
  • Budget Management.


Logistics and Coordination:

  • Risk Management and Problem Resolution.
  • Compliance and Documentation.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Extensive experience personally managing major projects through the full lifecycle - from initiation and planning through to operational readiness and handover with exposure to each stage of the project life cycle, from inception through to implementation and closure preferably with office relocation or facility management experience.
  • End-to-end Waterfall Methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management concepts & principles.
  • Computer literate with experience in BAU Microsoft solutions, plus Project, DevOps, and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information to project stakeholders.
  • Work as part of a team and on own initiative, with a supportive approach to colleagues while also having the confidence and ability to influence others.
  • Good planning, organisational & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Numerate.


This is a contract role within IR35, day rate can be discussed upon application
