The Digital Partner role is designed to bridge strategic vision with tactical execution, overseeing the development and delivery of key initiatives and products for the functions. They partner closely with functional leadership to understand their business goals and determine the capabilities needed to achieve their objectives. Digital Partners capture and prioritize demand, coordinate cross-functional teams, secure necessary investments, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of epics to deliver maximum value while enabling business transformation and innovation. They leverage their communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships to facilitate organizational information flow and ensure cross-functional alignment.

What You Will Do

A Digital Partner is responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision for a product while coordinating and overseeing the development of epics. They are responsible for setting the product roadmap, aligning it with business goals, and ensuring that the development of epics supports the overall product strategy. Digital Partners collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and functional stakeholders, to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and resolve issues. Additionally, they act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, track progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust plans as necessary to deliver business value and meet functional needs effectively. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization (Vice President and down) to understand functional improvement targets and organizational goals, ensuring the desired business results are quantifiable and aligned to Raytheon strategy
  • Conducting market analysis to evaluate current landscape of existing capabilities - both internal and external - and assess current and emerging trends to determine best in class
  • Defining capabilities needed to achieve business outcomes
  • Prioritizing investments and initiatives in order to establish a clear timeline and inform the Long Range and Annual Operating Plans (LRP & AOP)
  • Developing the Digital Capability Roadmap for supported functions
  • Managing Epic lifecycles from inception to execution
  • Leading the creation of the Lean Business Case, including definition of the MVP, additional potential features and cost estimates
  • Realizing Product Management Success (Customer Connection; Product Strategy, Vision & Roadmaps)

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to develop and grow a robust professional network.
  • Experience managing technology roadmaps.
  • Experience performing product market analysis research.
  • Experience in a technical or software development environment.
  • Understanding of the typical Legal, Contracts, and Compliance processes and tools leveraged by a defense contractor.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.
