DevOps Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

ROLE OBJECTIVE : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer Lead/Architect with a strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the DevOps infrastructure and processes to support our cloud-based applications and services. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES : 1. Lead, mentor, and collaborate with a team of DevOps engineers to build and maintain scalable, high availability infrastructure solutions in GCP. 2. Migrate the existing Azure and On-Prem infrastructure to GCP 3. Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and automation processes to ensure efficient deployment and management of applications. 4. Leverage expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure to drive best practices, cost optimization, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure. 5. Oversee the design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring smooth and automated delivery of code. 6. Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices to streamline our software delivery pipeline and improve overall efficiency. 7. Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues affecting our applications and infrastructure. 8. Implement security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability scanning. 9. Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable infrastructure solutions. JOB REQUIREMENTS : 1. Education- B. Tech (Comp. Sc) or equivalent 2. Experience- 4 years of experience in DevOps (GCP) Technical Skills : - Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, including services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and related cloud-native tools. - Containerization & Orchestration - Hands-on experience DevOps Tools & Automation - Scripting & Programming - Security & Networking - Database & Storage Solutions. 4.
