Calibre Search
Associate Director - Construction Consultancy
Job Location
Job Description
Calibre Search is working closely with a rapidly growing construction consultancy that is looking to expand its footprint in Newcastle.
With an established reputation for delivering excellence in Building Surveying and Project Management across the UK, they are now opening a modern, city-centre office in Newcastle and are seeking an ambitious and driven Associate Director to take the reins in what will be a key hire for them.
You will play a pivotal role in establishing the consultancies name across the North East as they will fully support you in their long term vision as you over time bring in new Building Surveyors and Project Managers to aid in your expansion.
Business development is always a bonus if you have the capability (and one they certainly will reward you for) but at first, they already have a number of clients which you will be able to service straight away so the need to win work won’t be required.
For them, it’s simply finding the right person with the right drive and technical skills make a name for themselves whilst having their full support from the other Partners of the business. Long term regards, this role could easily see be fast tracked to Director level and eventually the chance to gain equity shares if you’re successful.
Current workload consists of various high profile residential projects which include but not limited to cladding inspection and remediation work. Ideally, you will be qualified in either MRICS or MCIOB and have several years under your belt acting as a leading Construction Project Manager or Building Surveyor.
If you like the idea of being the lead of a brand new office and essentially be your own boss with the wider support of the consultancy, this could very much be a role for you.
