Commercial Manager

We are working a SME Civil Engineering Contractor who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to lead an expanding team of surveyors, estimators and buyers.

• Responsibilities:

• Analysis of NEC contract to identify Risk and Opportunity
• Support the business in contractual and commercial matters and to ensure that all projects attain their full commercial potential.
• Commercial responsibility for the day-to-day performance and governance of the key and high-profile projects and clients within the business
• Maximise monthly valuations and variation valuations, ensure timely submission and manage assessment and approval processes.
• Writing of reports and presentation to Senior Management Team
• Management and mentorship of 2 Surveyors
• Involvement with tender team
• Commercial Management of projects and packages up to £5 million
