Job Description

Sales Executive - Steelwork

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years


A leading steel company is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to help drive growth in key sectors, including chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel projects (non-portal frame). Knowledge of green energy, renewables, or MOD/Nuclear industries would be a distinct advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the structural steel sector
  • Focusing on projects related to chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders in green energy, renewables, MOD, and Nuclear sectors
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with company capabilities and client needs
  • Driving the business forward by securing high-value contracts and fostering long-term client relationships


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, specifically within the structural steel industry
  • Proven track record of securing business in non-portal frame projects
  • Connections or experience in green energy, renewables, or MOD/Nuclear projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset
