Senior Performance Manager
Hours: Full-Time, (37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30am – 4:30 pm)
Location: West Midlands region
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 pa (depending on experience & qualifications)
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Performance Manager.
Nova Training is one of the UK’s most popular and experienced training providers operating for over 30 years in Study Programmes and Apprenticeships. Nova now operates its 14-24 provision from 13 locations located across the West Midlands and East of England.
Our programme delivery now includes; 16-18 study programmes, pre-apprenticeships, provision for learners with high needs, apprenticeships and 14-16 alternative provision.
Rated as Good by Ofsted in all areas of provision for offering a variety of education options to young people.
As a Senior Performance Manager you will oversee and ensure financial profiles and learner numbers are achieved alongside delivering a high-quality service that meets key performance indicators. To support and assist effective delivery of Study Programmes, High Needs, Apprenticeships and School Provision. You will have a strong focus on adherence to processes and compliance and overall performance management of centres and programme areas.
You will also support the performance, compliance and quality of the learning programmes working with the wider Senior Management Team. Ensuring that staff are exceptionally well supported thus enabling them to deliver a high level of service to learners. The key measure of success in the role will be against the achievement of Company and Contractual KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
To achieve all programme key performance indicators in relation to financial, learner engagement, quality and outcomes for learners for the region. Achieving parity and equal performance amongst the centres.
To ensure management processes are adhered to at all sites. Implement support to reverse any identified areas of KPI under-performance.
In conjunction with MIS Managers, carry out compliance checks for funding purposes.
Act as Inductor/Mentor to all new Centre Managers and staff within the region.
Line manage Centre Managers to ensure all new initiatives and management processes are fully embedded at all centres and high levels of performance are achieved.
To chair a range of meetings and act as lead on identified learner and staff management groups/committees such as Recruitment and Progression Officer forums.
To support and deliver where required in the delivery of a comprehensive programme of relevant staff training that ensures all staff meet the minimum company/sector requirements and that any areas for improvement that are identified from quality monitoring activities. Requirements:
Relevant, successful experience of Education Management.
Supervising and managing staff to achieve personal targets and high productivity.
A practical knowledge of programme delivery at manager level.
A management qualification at L4 or above or 2 years’ experience of successful education management in a comparable role.
Good knowledge of Health & Safety in an educational environment
Full, clean UK Driving License
