Job Title: Site-Based Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Manchester / Merseyside (Site-Based Projects)
Day rate: £300 per day

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage HVAC projects, specifically focused on mechanical installations and ventilation systems across various sectors.
* Lead site-based projects in the North West region, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, site supervisors, and teams.
* Handle top-level client management with professionalism, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
* Ensure that projects meet or exceed quality, schedule, and budget expectations, managing resources and materials efficiently.
* Work closely with site teams and manage contractors on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and health and safety standards.
* Regularly report on project progress, financial performance, and potential risks to senior management.
* Willingness to travel within the Northwest region to oversee multiple project sites.
Requirements:
* Strong background in HVAC and ductwork with extensive project management experience, ideally overseeing projects up to £3 million in value.
* Capable of managing multiple site-based projects simultaneously, ranging from large-scale developments to smaller projects.
* Solid commercial awareness, including business development skills and the ability to identify and act on opportunities.
* Established contacts within the HVAC sector, including suppliers and contractors.
* Proven experience in leading teams, with the ability to build, develop, and motivate site teams.
* SMSTS or Black CSCS card required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of a project.
* Must be based in the North West region and willing to travel to project sites within this area.
