Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Preston
Salary: Up to £30k
We are working with a leading construction consultancy seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced Directors and senior staff, gaining exposure to a range of projects and building your career within a supportive and high-quality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Comply with internal quality assurance and governance procedures.
Assist with estimates, cost plans, interim valuations, and cost reports.
Provide procurement advice and assist in tender document preparation.
Support contract administration and cost control processes.
Attend site visits, including snagging inspections and project handovers.
Act as Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator when required.

Person Specification:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction-related organization
Strong knowledge of contract management and quality systems
