Anti-Social Behaviour Case Investigation Officer with previous experience in managing ASB cases or housing management and preparing court and legal documents is required to join a well-established housing association based in Staines, Surrey.

SALARY: £34,285 - £36,000 per annum+ Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Staines, Surrey(TW18) and partly from home
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Anti-Social Behaviour Case Investigation Officerwith previous experience in managing ASB cases or housing management and preparing court and legal documents.
Working as the Anti-Social Behaviour Case Investigation Officeryou will be managing and taking ownership of a caseload of high level complex ASB cases, ensuring the organisation achieves the highest level of customer satisfaction that they can.
As the Anti-Social Behaviour Case Investigation Officeryou will have good knowledge of current housing and ASB legislation, preferably gained from working as a Police Officer or a PCSO / Police Community Support Officer or from managing ASB cases within the Housing Sector or Local Authority Setting, and be up to date case law and have the ability to represent cases in court.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Anti-Social Behaviour Case Investigation Officerwill include:
- Daily management of all anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases across the group, with the ability to read and interpret tenancy agreements and leases to ensure proper handling of ASB according to tenure
- Prepare witness statements which will be relied upon in court
- Work with the in-house legal team and be able to represent the organisation at court hearings
- Maintain excellent customer service, ensuring that you meet the Groups Customer care standards
- Draft and serve NSPs as and when required
- Attend multi agency ASB meetings relating to case management, and the safety/ protection of the community
- Support victims and alleged perpetrators of ASB, giving advice, making referrals, and offering ongoing assistance throughout the life of a case and beyond
- Ensure that IT systems are regularly updated, and effective manual record systems are maintained
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working as as a Police Officer or a PCSO / Police Community Support Officer, been involved in investigating complex cases (ideally ABS) or experience managing ASB cases or housing management within the private or public Housing Sector or Local Authority Setting
- Experience in preparing court and legal documents, as well as representing cases in court
- Knowledge of current housing and ASB legislation and up to date case law
- Ability to plan and monitor workload and cases
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience working with a diverse range of customers or residents
- Has (or willing to study for) CIH Membership or equivalent suitable qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Excellent IT Skills
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*-C)
