Software Engineer - Data Engineering

What You'll Do:

CRITEO is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join its Product Engineering team in Paris.

Google's Privacy Sandbox proposals necessitate a fundamental shift in how Internet advertising is done. Criteo is at the forefront of testing and integrating with the various APIs.

Your main missions:

1. Create high quality, maintainable code for our offline data pipelines that process terabytes of data and for online systems which serve billions of business-critical requests daily.
2. Work closely with Product Managers to ensure compatibility of our existing business offerings in the Privacy Sandbox world.
3. In a team of 5-7, you will be working closely with your mentor to drive your project, design and ensure best practices are applied. You are encouraged to actively voice your ideas while learning how to build and ship quality code into production which will likely affect millions of users instantly.

Who You Are:

1. You have at least 4 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.
2. Master in Computer Science or engineering school or any relevant field.
3. Familiar with this technical stack: Spark/Hadoop/Hive and relevant experience in Object Oriented Programming (Scala, C#, Python, C++, Java).
4. You are curious about innovative technologies, eventually leading personal subjects on the matter.
5. A can-do attitude and the ability to work on problems by thinking positively and in a collaborative manner.
6. You have worked in Agile environments and you are passionate about shipping high quality code!
7. Good level of English (at least B2 intermediate).
