AX Functional Consultant - MS Dynamics 365

Job Title : AX Functional Consultant. Location : Bangalore. Experience Required : 5-8 Years. Work Mode : Contract (6 Months). Mandatory Skills : MS Dynamics. Job Summary. As an AX Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (AX) to meet organizational needs, and providing expert guidance on functional processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, deliver solutions to enhance system functionality, and ensure seamless integration between business processes and AX modules. Your expertise will enable efficient and effective use of AX to support business operations and drive digital transformation. Roles & Responsibilities : - Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements related to Microsoft Dynamics AX (or Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations). - Perform detailed analysis of current business processes and identify areas for improvement, streamlining, or automation using AX functionality. - Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system configuration and customization. Requirements : - Strong understanding of AX modules, including but not limited to Finance, Procurement, Sales & Distribution, Inventory, Manufacturing, and HR. - Proficiency in AX configuration and customization (no-code, low-code solutions, form customization, security roles). - Experience with AX reporting tools like SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Power BI integration for AX. - Knowledge of integration methods such as Data Management Framework (DMF), AIF (Application Integration Framework), and third-party integrations.
