Position Overview:

Blanchards Law is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Family Law Paralegal to join our thriving team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in family law, with a proven track record of successfully helping fee earners with complex cases. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious paralegal to contribute to the growth and success of our family law practice.


Responsibilities:

  1. Case Management: Assist in management of a varied and complex caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and domestic violence cases.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by offering a personalised service, understanding their needs, and providing clear communication throughout the legal process.
  3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service. The ideal candidate will have first hand experience supporting partners and or senior solicitors with their case management.
  4. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the family law practice through business development initiatives, networking, and fostering relationships within the legal community.
  5. Legal Research: Stay informed about changes in family law, precedents, and legislation, and apply this knowledge to enhance the quality of legal services provided.


Qualifications:

  1. Qualifications: It is preferred that the candidate will have an undergraduate degree and or CILEX training.
  2. Proven Expertise: Demonstrated experience in handling a diverse range of family law cases, showcasing a deep understanding of relevant legal principles and procedures.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Client-Centric Approach: A commitment to providing exceptional client service, understanding client needs, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  5. Team Player: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  6. Business Acumen: Ability and interest in contributing to the business development activities of the firm, including client acquisition and retention.
