Physics Technician Needed - November Start in Kensington and Chelsea
Location: Kensington and Chelsea, London
Start Date: November 2024
Contract: Ongoing, at least until July 2025
Salary: £13.50-£15.50 per hour, depending on experience
We are seeking a skilled Physics Technician to join a secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea. The ideal candidate will have a background in Science, with a focus on Physics, and will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the school's science department.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and prepare laboratory equipment for physics lessons
Maintain and manage lab materials and equipment
Support teachers during practical sessions
Supervise students during experiments to ensure safety
Carry out routine checks and maintenance of lab apparatusRequirements:
Full-time availability
Degree in Science with a Physics specialism, or A'level in Physics
Valid Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional references
