Prospero Teaching is currently partnering with a specialist SEN school in Burton that is looking to recruit four Support Workers to join their team as SEN Teaching Assistants for the 2024 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs. The roles are initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to transition into permanent positions.
Position Details:
Location: Burton
Position: SEN Support Worker / Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Minimum Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Experience working with individuals with SEN in any capacity
Experience within the Care or Residential Sector
Moving and handling training and experience using a hoist (desirable)

To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references covering the last two years
