SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary - Secondary
Location: Enfield, London
Salary: £95- £110 (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across a range of ages? We are looking for a dedicated and flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to work with children from Early Years through to Key Stage 4 in a supportive and welcoming school in Enfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to students with diverse SEN requirements, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Work with students across different year groups, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring all students are able to access the curriculum.
Implement and support Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work closely with the SENCO to ensure each student receives the appropriate care.
Support students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Facilitate a positive learning environment where all pupils feel included and valued.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN, ideally across multiple age groups (desirable but not essential).
A caring, patient, and positive attitude, with the ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities.
Strong organisational and communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and the wider school team.
Flexibility and a proactive approach to working in a dynamic school environment.
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting pupil welfare.
