Job Description

SupplyWell is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Science Teacher who is looking for a more rewarding and flexible role to join a school in St Helens. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply teacher to make a positive impact on the students and wider school community, but providing you the freedom to choose when you work.
The role of Science Teacher will require the delivery of the current Science Curriculum to students across KS3 and KS4, and you will be supported with quality resources, equipment, and fellow staff.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Salary: Up to £238
Location: St Helens
As a teacher of Science you'll be responsible for delivering engaging science lessons to students of varying abilities. For this role you will need to have excellent classroom management skills and be dedicated to achieving the highest teaching and learning standards.This role will suit either newly or recently qualified, enthusiastic and aspirational teachers or those with excellent practice who wish to share their expertise and make a difference. The Academy offers a bespoke CPD and coaching programme, which is evidence informed and grounded in the latest research.

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS)
*
A commitment to excellence in teaching and behaviour management
*
Prior experience teaching Science at KS3&4 (ages 11-16)
*
Eagerness to collaborate with a dedicated team in a well-equipped department
