Technical Manager - Civil Engineering

Technical Manager - Civil Engineering Contractor - Highways, infrastructure and drainage predominantly: Roads, Junction Improvements, 278 works, S38 works.

A very well established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Technical Manager to join its senior management team, working on pre contract and during construction phases.

Management of project drawings at tender stage
Give advice to the estimating team
Check and manage all design drawings, and assess project suitability and construction tolerance
Give value engineering methods (if any) and design advice to the team
Handling works from inception to project to completion with the construction team
Produce and manage as-builts
Gain sign offs from local authorities
Working with circa 5 engineers, and 8- 12 projects at any time
Projects valued from £500k to £15m

Salary between £70,000 - £85,000 dependant on experience
