The Department of STEM & Construction wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Manufacture Engineering Lecturer to work with learners across SCQF levels 5 to 8.
You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching relative to the specialist areas of Manufacturing Engineering (CAD, CNC Turning and Milling Machining).
Candidates with significant relevant industrial experience in off-on shore petro-chemical maintenance, naval engineering, manufacturing maintenance, or other relevant mechanical maintenance experience will be considered.
Ideally, candidates will hold a relevant Higher National qualification, or Degree, or professional equivalent.
Teaching experience is desirable but not essential, and the successful candidate should be prepared to work toward TQFE, Assessor and Verifier qualifications.
You will work as part of a team to ensure that the curriculum is relevant and up-to-date. You will also have appropriate ICT skills and possess good knowledge and understanding of health and safety.
The Department of STEM & Construction Engineering operates across three campuses and there may be a requirement to work at our other campuses if required.
